IFRD Calls for Immediate Entry of ICC and ICJ Investigation Committees into Gaza

The International Federation for Rights and Development (IFRD) urgently calls upon the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to deploy investigation committees to Gaza without further delay. After two years of genocide, systematic destruction, starvation, and collective punishment, Gaza remains a zone of impunity where war crimes and crimes against humanity are being committed in full view of the international community.

IFRD stresses that any delay in the entry of international investigators not only undermines justice but also enables the continued erasure of evidence, silencing of witnesses, and intimidation of survivors. The gravity of the crimes committed — including the targeting of civilians, journalists, medical personnel, and UN facilities — demands an immediate and independent international inquiry under the mandates of the ICC and ICJ.

We urge both courts to act decisively and coordinate with UN agencies to establish secure access to Gaza, ensuring the protection of mass grave sites, preservation of digital and forensic evidence, and the collection of testimonies from victims and survivors.

Justice for Gaza cannot wait. Accountability is a cornerstone of peace, and the entry of ICC and ICJ investigation teams represents the first necessary step toward ending the cycle of impunity and restoring the rule of international law.
