The International Federation for Rights and Development (IFRD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Andy Shehu as its Head of Lobbying and Advocacy.
Andy has led political lobbying groups in Italy for the past ten years before expanding his work to the European level. He is well-regarded in the European human rights sector, particularly for his advocacy on the Palestinian cause.
Andy has a proven track record of success in lobbying, having successfully influenced the stance of several European parties on the Palestinian cause. Most recently, during the European elections, he played a key role in securing five seats for the Volt party in the European Parliament.
Andy holds an impressive academic background in the humanities.
IFRD views this appointment as an opportunity to enhance the organization’s capacity to work on human rights issues with greater depth, leveraging Mr. Shehu’s extensive experience.
